Adolph E. Vasques, 92, of Monongahela, formerly of Gallatin, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the Havencrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 12, 1930 in Gallatin, the son of Raimondo and Mary Ferrini Vasques.

Adolph was Catholic by faith. He was employed at US Steel Donora Works until its closing and retired from US Steel Christy Park. Adolph had a great passion for music. He loved telling stories, especially about his heritage and travels. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin in the mountains.

He is survived by two sons, Anthony and wife Ana Vasques of Ohio, Ricky Vasques of Elizabeth; two granddaughters, Gabrielle and Erica Vasques; sister, Irene Parker of Scottdale; niece, Pam and husband Jon Aigner of Scottdale; good friends, Shelly and husband Larry Goldstein of Bridgeville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Vasques.

Friends will be received on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 10 AM - 12 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held at 12:00 PM with the Deacon Alexander Poroda officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
