Albert F. Stratemeier, 76, of Monongahela, died Saturday, July 12, 2025 in his home. He was born September 3, 1948 in Pittsburgh, the son of Albert F. and Mary Vendemia Stratemeier, Jr.

Albert retired from Corning Glass in Charleroi with over ten years of employment. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the US Army. He loved photography and was a car enthusiast. He was very knowledgeable about the history of western Pennsylvania and also enjoyed genealogy.

He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Paula Naugle Skelly; daughter, Sarah (Jordan) Taradash of Oakmont; step daughter, Shannon Skelly of Beaver; step son, Michael Skelly of Monongahela; two grandchildren, Cecilia and James Taradash; three step grandchildren, Jocelyn Skelly (Cameron Jerome), Nathan and Rachel Skelly; two step great grandchildren, Alayna and Adelaide Jerome whom he absolutely adored; two sisters, Mary Frances (Edward) Spontak of Ross Township, and Dolores Eboli of Penn Hills..

A private funeral service with military honors will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
