Barbara L. Zyski's Obituary
Barbara L. Zyski, 80, of Monongahela, died Friday, April 6, 2018 in the Butler Hospital. She was born July 14, 1937 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Robert and Elsie May Reed Grounds.
Barbara was a graduate of Bentleyville High School and retired from the dietary department at the Monongahela Valley Hospital after thirty five years of employment. She enjoyed knitting and going to the casinos. She loved travelling and had visited New Mexico, New York, California, Hawaii, Canada, Italy and attended the olympics in Greece.
She is survived by her son, Philip R. "Randy" Vignoli of Monongahela; two grandchildren, Lovey and Bryan Vignoli; three brothers, Robert Grounds of San Bernardino, California, Jack Grounds of Boca Raton, Florida, Tom Grounds, Miami, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Zyski; two sons, Richard and Gene Vignoli; brother, Lawrence Grounds.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 5-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kenneth Kirby officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
