Obituary

Barry Lynn Winkleblech, 67, of Monongahela, died Saturday, June 4, 2022 in The Grand Residence, Upper St. Clair. He was born January 28, 1955 in New Eagle, the son of Laird Wilmer and Anne Margaret Barr Winkleblech.

Nancy Ann  Winkleblech, 63, of Monongahela, died Friday, November 11, 2022 in Whitetail Springs Memory Care Community, Pittsburgh. She was born June 22, 1959 in North Charleroi,  the daughter of John and Dorothy Lorraine Balko Praskavich.

Barry worked for People's Gas for over 30 years. He had a knack for DIY projects, and had worked on many home improvement projects over the years. But no matter how busy he was, he always had time to lend a hand when a friend or family member needed some help.

Nancy worked for Jefferson Hospital for over 30 years. She helped to start the wound care center at Jefferson Hospital and was one of the first recipients of the Cameo Of Caring award in 1999. Nancy loved taking care of others. She also enjoyed cleaning and liked things tidy and organized.

Barry and Nancy had hobbies together including golf, travel, bowling, and Pittsburgh Steelers football. They loved spending time with friends and family, especially their grandchildren. They loved taking care of their dogs as well. Barry and Nancy made a great team, their strengths complimented each other and they were true partners in life and love.

They were survived by their daughter, Jana Daly and husband Josh; son, Brian Winkleblech and wife Roxanne; four grandchildren, Claire and Brandon Daly, Arya and Allie Winkleblech.
Also surviving are Barry's two brothers, Gary Winkleblech and Karen Liggett, Randy Winkleblech and wife Mary; and Nancy's sister, Eileen Rogers and husband Jim; and brother, John Praskavich Sr. and wife Jamie.

Arrangements were entrusted to Frye Funeral Home Inc., Monongahela where family and friends gathered for visitations and to celebrate the lives of Barry and Nancy.
