Belinda Ann Rice, 85, of New Eagle, died Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in her home. She was born September 15, 1937 in Monongahela, the daughter of Boyd and Margaret Mullen Cutright.

Belinda was a 1955 graduate of Monongahela High School and a member of Riverview Baptist Church in New Eagle. She was employed at Hills Restaurant in New Eagle and South Hills Christian School in Finleyville where she worked in the cafeteria. She also worked as a preschool aide at Head Start in Charleroi where she retired.

Every Saturday, she and her sisters went shopping with their mom. The sisters also enjoyed spending weekends at Shawnee Park and celebrating their birthdays together. Belinda looked forward to attending the Cutright family reunions every year. She loved cooking, baking, and taking care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters and five sons, Valerie Trail of New Eagle, Lisa Reed of North Charleroi, twins, Sam P. Rice of New Eagle and Dan (Lillian) Rice of Sidney, Ohio, David (Nancy) Rice of North Charleroi, Amy (Jimmy) Cogswell of Frederick, Maryland, Todd (Tracy) Rice of Buena Vista, and Eric Rice of New Eagle; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, George (Victoria) Cutright of Washington, Iowa Hermann of New Eagle, Gail (Anthony) Mordecki of New Eagle, Harold (Jenny) Cutright of Virginia, and Patricia (Wes) Large of Monongahela.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel O. Rice who died April 13, 2019; three grandchildren, Larry Acton, Belinda Anthony, and Daniel Rice; and a sister, Helen Rice.

Friends will be received on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Donald Dague officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Monongahela.
