Berne Nones' Obituary
Berne Burgoyne Nones, 90, of Fremont, Ohio, formerly of Monongahela (Victory Hill), died Monday, October 8, 2018. She was born November 25, 1927 in Monongahela, the daughter of John and Gladys Greenway Burgoyne.
Berne grew up and raised her family in Monongahela. After the passing of her husband, Reno in 2012, she moved to Ohio to be closer to her children. While residing in Monongahela, she was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, the AARP in New Eagle and the Victory Hill Social Center Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Root and husband Dennis of Fremont, Ohio; two sons, Bruce Nones and wife Mary Jane of Milford, New Jersey, Eric Nones of Fremont, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kimberly Smith, Scott Root and Dean Nones; four great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Renato "Reno" Nones who died January 1, 2012; son, Mark Nones who died August 10, 2009; and two brothers, John Burgoyne, Jr. and James Burgoyne.
Friends will be received on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Matthew Stabe officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
