Bernice Marie Ostrander Gilmore, 94, of Montgomery, Texas, formerly of Monongahela, died Monday, December 7, 2020. She was born July 29, 1926 in Coverdale, the daughter of Earl F. and Agnes Simpson Ostrander.
Bernice was a 1944 graduate of Clairton High School. She lived on Victory Hill for almost fifty years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monongahela.
She is survived her son, Robert (Adeline) Gilmore of Monongahela; daughter, Deborah (Joe) De Los Santos of Montgomery, Texas; four grandchildren, Tracey (Fred) Crompton, Shaun (Tiffany) Sylvester,  Nicole Gilmore, Kelley (Edward) Terrazas; seven great grandchildren, Amber and Alayna Sylvester, Alexandria and Madilyn Terrazas, Reagen, Cadence and Lyla Gilmore; and multiple four-legged friends of Tracey's.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gilmore who died October 17, 2010; and two sisters, Lillian Houseman and Naomi Tucholski Kunkle.
Friends will be received on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 11 AM to 12 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
