Blanche J. Losey, 88, of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born April 16, 1931 in Monongahela, the daughter of Edward and Marjorie Wilson Mellor.
Blanche was lovingly devoted to her family and her home. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and going to casinos.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph J. Losey, Sr. with whom she celebrated 70 years of marriage on January 17, 2020; two sons, Ralph J. Losey, Jr. and his wife Denise of Sandestin, Florida, Mark Losey and his wife Sue of Greensburg; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, J. Raymond, Edward, Ronald, William "Speed" and James Mellor; five sisters, Marjorie Mellor, Lillian Sleighter, Olive Galloway, Sarah "Sally" Pacini and Martha Mucci.
Friends will be received on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11 AM with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
