Means
Sep 27, 2002 — Dec 7, 2025
Belle Vernon
Cameron Michael Means, 23, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on December 7, 2025. He was born on September 27, 2002, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, a son of John and Lisa Sanson Means of Pittsburgh.
Cameron grew up in Elkins, West Virginia, and moved to Monongahela in 2015. He graduated in 2021 from Ringgold High School.
He was a hardworking member of the United Steelworkers Local 1219 and proudly earned his certification as a welder through All-State Career School. He took great pride in his work and was known for his talent, steady determination, and heart for providing for those he loved.
Cameron, the "negotiator" and "wanderer", was known best for his legendary nickname "Bobcat". He had a goofy and quirky sense of humor. He was a "momma's boy" and had the rare gift of making any person laugh no matter what situation.
He had an old soul and a deep love for bluegrass and country music, often playing and singing Hank Williams Jr. on his guitar and finding peace through music. He had many talents and hobbies including skateboarding, fixing cars, and riding BMX bikes. He could always be found riding ATV's, dirt bikes and quads.
He loved spending time with his children and being a father. His laughter was contagious, and his presence brought comfort and joy to those around him. Above all, Cameron was a providing and devoted father.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Colson and Charlotte Means, and their mother, Hannah Ferguson of Belle Vernon; siblings, Candace Means of Finleyville, Caleb Means of Belle Vernon, Carlee Means Wigand and her husband, Hunter, of Belle Vernon; maternal grandmother, Emma Sanson of Summersville, West Virginia; paternal grandfather, David Means of Poca, West Virginia; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carmel Sanson Jr.; paternal grandmother, Stella "June" Means; three first cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at New Hope Assembly of God, 900 Peairs Road, Elizabeth, PA 15037 on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to honor Cameron's life, share memories, and celebrate the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
