Carol Ann  Doty, 63, of Monongahela, died peacefully Sunday, December 25, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 1, 1953 in New Eagle, the daughter of the late Paul J.and Theresa  Archiletti Davis.
Carol was a graduate of Ringgold High School, class of 1972 and the Douglas School of Business in Monessen. For over tweny years, she was employed by the Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority in Charleroi, where she was the office manager. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Monongahela and the Ladies Auxiliary at the Monongahela Valley Hospital. Carol loved spending time with her family and enjoyed planting flowers and doing crafts.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Doty  with whom she celebrated forty four years of marriage on April 3, 2016; son, David A. Doty, Jr. and wife Ann Marie, and daughter, Marci Doty-Fitterer and husband Jeffrey K., all of Monongahela; four grandchildren, Cody Bennett, David Arthur Doty, Ariana Bennett and Collin Brunell; two brothers, Paul J. Davis and wife Nancy of Monongahela, William Davis of Perryopolis; two sisters-in-law, Donna Dobrinski and husband Joe of Van Voorhis, Linda Zeh and husband Jim of Monongahela; brother-in-law. Jay Doty of Monongahela; numerous nieces and nephews; her wonderful neighbors and good friends, Kathy, Nancy, Rita, Lori and Marsha.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Robert Ingland officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
