Carol Lee Richards, 73, of Canonsburg, formerly of Monongahela, died Thursday, November 27, 2025 in the Townview Health Center and Rehabilitation, Canonsburg. She was born January 18, 1952 in North Charleroi, the daughter of Edgar and Hazel Robb Cooper.

Carol enjoyed swimming, camping, rafting, country music and Harley riding. Most of all, she loved hanging out with her family and friends.

She is survived by three daughters, Brenda (James) Anthony of Donora, Caroline (James) Drury of Cassatt, South Carolina, Rebecca (Robert) Kuhel of Perryopolis; son, Gary Richards, Jr. of Perryopolis; eleven grandchildren, William Richards, James, Christopher, Johnathon, Shannon and Brandon Anthony, Gabrielle and Drake Munger, Caleb and Dakota Drury, and Dylan Kuhel; eight great grandchildren, Maverick Richards, Kylee, Xavier, Skylar and Johnathon Anthony, Nolan, Owen and Bryson Sawicky; sister, Dorothy Summers of Donora; special niece, Cindy Hollerich; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Richards, Sr.; grandson, Craig Horn; sisters, Shirley Hollerich, Myrtle Bradshaw, Bernice Pelzer, and Bonnie Cooper; brothers, Edgar Jr., Thomas and Donald Cooper and Charles Cooper who died in infancy.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela.
