Catherine "Babe" Baroffio, 89, of Westminster, MD, formerly of Monongahela, died peacefully, comforted by family on November 25, 2020. She was born October 28, 1931 in Elrama, PA, the daughter of John and Catherine Cola.

Babe held various administrative working positions over the years while centering her life around her family and home. She was known as a wonderful cook, baker, and gardener who loved being outdoors. She enjoyed travel and attending the activities and sporting events of her children and grandchildren. A devout Christian, Babe was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monongahela and Class of Ruth. She will be remembered by her children and grandchildren for being a selfless, gentle, intelligent, witty, and fun person who always wanted to help her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Bryan (Susan) Baroffio of Grand Junction, Colorado; daughter, Becky (Eugene "Rob") Uhlman of Finksburg, Maryland; four grandchildren, Brett Baroffio, Brooke (Shawn) Ryden, Carly (Alex) Childs, and Jesse Uhlman; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Albert "Rip" Baroffio, Jr. whom she lovingly cared for years after his illness and subsequent death in 2004, four sisters, Ann Kunz, Mary Freycenet, Rose Walters, and Wilda Baxter; and three brothers, George, Metro, and John Cola, Jr.

Private visitation and funeral services were held at the Frye Funeral Home Inc. followed by interment in the Monongahela Cemetery.
