Charles E. Fry, 82, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 2, 2021. He was born December 27, 1938 in Harrisburg, the son of Clarence Edward and Lacy Marie Leader Fry.
Charles was a Vietnam veteran having served in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. He retired in 1986 after twenty years of active duty. He was a member of the NRA and American Legion Post 945.
He is survived by his wife of thirty two years, Carol Palmer Fry; eight children, Kim (Bob) Parantis, Jillian (Nick) Fry, David (Kelli) Dillman, Jeffrey (Cathy) Dillman, January Holley-Fry, Meghan (Raymond) Schiller, Charlie (Lisa) Holley-Fry, Lacey Bartz; seventeen grandchildren, Emma, Jae, Courtney, Robert, Heather, Paige, Hailey, Morgan, Jadyn "RJ", Cristian, Stephanie, Taylor, Nico, Payton, Deacon, Easton and Rosealynn; brother, Sam Fry; two sisters, Jane Cale and Betty Williams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Oliver Holley-Fry.
