Christine M. Loutitt, 59, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully with her husband and brother by her side on Friday, March 7, 2025 after a long illness. She was born December 29, 1965 in North Charleroi, the daughter of the late Edward J. and Josephine Bona Matay.

For several years, Christine was employed as a baker at the former Ponderosa in Belle Vernon. After working, she became a housewife and loved staying at home with her family and her cats. She enjoyed camping with the family and bowling with her husband, Rich. Christine was Catholic by faith.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Loutitt  with whom she celebrated twenty eight years of marriage on September 24, 2024; brother, Mark (Barbara) Matay of Rostraver Township; niece, Erica (Dylan) Roush; mother-in-law, Frances "Pooch" Loutitt of Monongahela. Christine comes from a large, loving family. Also surviving are an aunt, uncle and numerous cousins.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
