Christopher Douglas Hoffman "The Great", age 66, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2024, in Melbourne, Florida. Born on September 4, 1957, in New Eagle, he was the son of the late Edward Hoffman, Jr. and Virginia Lazzari Hoffman.

Christopher was a man whose radiant personality and ceaseless optimism left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

His academic journey in higher education began at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania, where he honed his skills and prepared for a diverse career path. Christopher went to the university on a diving scholarship and received a degree in painting and drawing. Christopher spent the first half of his career as a self-employed artist who traveled the country selling his art at festivals, he then worked as a telecommunications salesman until he retired.

Beyond his professional and academic endeavors, Christopher's life was rich with hobbies that brought him and others great joy. From the meticulous craftsmanship of ceramics to the thrill of cars and motorcycles, from his unwavering support for the Steelers to his love of cruising and beach days. Christopher truly lived life to the fullest. Above all, his greatest pleasure was found in the time spent with his beloved family.

Christopher was a spiritual man, attending services at Calvary Chapel Melbourne, where he found wisdom, encouragement and fellowship.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his daughters, Jessica Phillips and Sarah Hoffman; his sons, Christopher A. Hoffman and Zachary Hoffman; his treasured grandchildren, Xaria, Xayla, Xerxes, and Xekiel. His sisters, Virginia Marraccini and Tracey Burns and his brothers, Edward Hoffman III and Richard Hoffman, will hold his memory dear.
