Clyde Wilbert Hallam, Jr., 79, of Uniontown, formerly of Finleyville died Saturday, June 18, 2016 in THE Golden Living Center, Uniontown. He was born December 14, 1936 in Imperial, the son of Clyde Wilbert Sr. and Violet Pearl Plance Hallam.
Clyde was a peacetime veteran having served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, playing cards and spending time with his family.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Vail of Brownsville, Shelma Cottril of Texas; two sons, Clyde Hallam, III of Florida, Charles Hallam of Texas; nine grandchildren, Ashley and Kira Vail, Clyde and Travis Hallam, John and Christopher Hardesty, Lisa Recaldini, Tasha Garcia, Cristy Redd; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, John Hallam of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Jamie Fortner of Ohio, Cathy Adams of Van Voorhis, Helene Boyd of Monongahela.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Christina; his second wife, Judy Burgess Hallam; daughter, Ada; and several brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Mark Woomer officiating.
