Daniel R. Flint, Jr., 66, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 29, 2024 in the Haven Crest Nursing Center, Monongahela. He was born June 28, 1958 in New Eagle, the son of Daniel "Babo"  Flint of Monongahela and the late Thelma Hefner Flint.

Dan was a 1977 graduate of Ringgold High School-Monongahela Division. He retired in 2010 from McHolme Builders in Elizabeth. Dan was charismatic, funny, witty and above all very family oriented. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Pittsburgh sports and cutting the grass. He had an enthusiastic love of animals and sitting on the balcony of his home, watching soccer games.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Dragone Flint  with whom he celebrated thirty eight years of marriage on July 26, 2024; daughter, Becky and her husband Dave McKee, Jr. of Donora; son, Sam Flint of Charleroi; two grandchildren, Aiden Breinig and Olivia McKee; two brothers, Frank Flint of Monongahela, Jeffrey and his wife Sandra Flint of Monongahela; and sister, Debra Pellegrini of Monongahela.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mark Pellegrini.

Friends will be received on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 2-6 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where closing prayers will be said at 6:00 pm.
