Daniel C. Rice, 19, of Sidney, Ohio, died at 5:30 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2022 in Sidney, Ohio. He was born December 30, 2002 in Shelby, North Carolina to Daniel J. and Lillian (Barskite) Rice of Sidney. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two sisters, Celine Rice and Brooke Rice, both at home.

Daniel was a 2021 graduate of Sidney High School where he ran track and was a member of the marching band. He worked as a machinist for Honda of America, a job he truly loved. He enjoyed fishing and playing video games, especially on his computer. He liked to tinker with electronics and built his own computer. He was very artistic and was very talented at drawing and painting. Additionally, he was a lover of music and enjoyed writing, playing and listening to music.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Sidney First Church of the Nazarene in Sidney, Ohio. Arrangements are being provided through the Jamieson and Yannucci Funeral Home in Piqua, Ohio.

At the request of the family, funeral services and inurnment in Pennsylvania will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Frye Funeral Home in Monongahela, Pennsylvania.
