Darla Jean Pershing, 57, of Fayette City, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 5, 2020 in her home. She was born September 8, 1962 in New Eagle, a daughter of Steve Sollosi of Elrama and the late Agnes Innes Churba.
Darla attended Elizabeth Forward High School. She loved to cook, bake, listen to music, play the guitar, collect hot pepper decorations and read the bible.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her son, Charles "CR" Pershing and daughter, Juliah Pershing, both of Elizabeth; and a sister, Beth Ann Sollosi of Fayette City.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Sollosi.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 7:30 PM with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating.
