David Alan Uddstrom, 60, of Vanderbilt, formerly of New Eagle, died Friday, November 16, 2018 in the South Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg. He was born March 5, 1958 in New Eagle, the son of Joanne DeCooman Uddstrom who survives and the late Karl D. Uddstrom, Jr.​ David was born and raised in New Eagle and a graduate of Ringgold High School. He was a member of the Union Station Club House in Uniontown and a honorary member of the Middletown Road Baptist Church in Pittsburgh. David loved watching old television shows, especially Charlie's Angels and Hawaii Five-O. A most honest and sincere gentleman, David had the utmost respect for our veterans and our fire and police departments. ​
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two uncles, John Uddstrom and wife Delores and John D'Amico, all of Pittsburgh; special cousin, Debra Ogden and husband Bill of Crafton, who loved to spend their time with David; his caregivers for the last six years, Charlotte and Michael Barker with whom he made his home; and his roommate, Harold Wood; numerous cousins also survive.​ In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two aunts, Charlotte D'Amico and  Vera Fredericks.​

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with the Pastor Jeff Kistler officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. ​
