Dennis "Nubbs" Necciai, 66, of Monongahela, died Friday, February 25, 2022 in his home. He was born April 11, 1955 in New Eagle, the son of the late George and Mary Micenko Necciai.

Nubbs was a 1973 graduate of Ringgold High School. He was employed at US Steel Clairton Works. He also worked as a journeyman electrician for IBEW Local 5 in Pittsburgh for over 20 years.  He was a former firefighter for Monongahela Volunteer Fire Department where he was a rescue diver.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Brounce Necciai, with whom he celebrated 39 years of marriage on October 16, 2021; two daughters, Heidi (Frank) Sanner of Donora, Heather (Ken) Lucy of Belle Vernon; Michael (Traci) Necciai of Monongahela; six grandchildren, Dustin (Traci) Zimmerman, Jenna, Gabby, and Dekotah Lucy, Gavin and Mackenzie Necciai; brother, George (Judy) Necciai of Taylers, SC; sister, Karen (Barry) Thomas of Simpsonville, SC; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Tomasiak, and nephew, Keith Davis.

Friends will be received on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 3-6 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela where a blessing service will be held at 6 PM with the Rev. Kevin Dominik, officiating.
