Obituary

Diana Curcio Shoulders, 77, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 24, 2021 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born April 11, 1944 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late John and Isabella Vaccaro Curcio.
Diana was a pioneer for all women in chemistry and research. Diana loved traveling to Europe, Belgium and Andorra among her favorites, and cooking and baking for her family and friends. She especially loved a lively conversation, always willing to share her opinions and expertise.
She is survived by her very loving and devoted husband, Jack L. Shoulders with whom she celebrated fifty one years of marriage on August 23, 2020; nephew, Matthew Sichi and wife Christina of Monongahela; niece, Cynthia Marini Durler and husband Michael of Sun City, Arizona; and her lovable dogs, Hamish and Innis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Angela Marini and Linda Sichi; and a brother, Gerald Curcio.
