Dolores M. Koch's Obituary
Dolores M. Koch, 91, of Charleroi, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in her home. She was born May 25, 1925 in Elizabeth, a daughter of Clyde H. and Helen M. Leuthke Hodgson.
In her younger years, Dolores enjoyed playing softball and volleyball. She was employed for over twenty five years at Dierken's Pharmacy in Monongahela. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dolores liked to bowl, golf and play cards and was the kind of person that always kept herself very busy. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Charleroi, the former Turners Club and a former member of the Slovak Club, both of Monongahela.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Norman R. and his wife Katherine A. Koch of Forest Hills, Judy Wojciechowski of Plum Boro, Regina Melville of Charleroi, Richard E. Koch of Monongahela; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Helen Mandarino of Monessen; and a brother, Clyde Richard and his wife Judy Hodgson of Sante, CA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Norman Koch and a sister, Marjorie Dawson.
Services will be private. The Frye Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
