Edith Elizabeth Bavuso's Obituary
Edith Elizabeth Bavuso, 83, of Monongahela, went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 25, 2018 in Manor Care, McMurray. She was born February 6, 1935 in Monongahela, the daughter of Thomas S. and Edith Richardson McKeever.
Edith retired in 1996 after sixteen years of employment from Mon Vale Health Resources Inc. where she worked as a clerk in the gift shop at the Monongahela Valley Hospital. After she retired, she volunteered her time with the ladies auxiliary. Edith was a member of Journey By Grace Church in North Belle Vernon. Very active in the church, she was a member of Women On A Mission (WOAM), the Prayer Warriors Group, the funeral dinner committee, a former steward and former member of it's choir. In her spare time, Edith loved to do crafts.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Bavuso and wife Judith of Emlenton, James Bavuso and wife Catherine of Rostraver, Bradley Bavuso and wife Melanie of Monongahela; seven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Patty Bavuso Andries of Metter, Georgia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dominick A. Bavuso who died May 8, 2009 and son, Matthew Bavuso who died Dec. 16, 2002.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela. Additional visitations will be held in the Journey By Grace Church on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 10-11 AM followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM with the Rev. William Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth.
Memorial contributions may be made to Journey By Grace Church, 4803 State Route 51, North Belle Vernon, PA 15012 or to Mon-Vale Health Resources Inc. Ladies Auxiliary, 1163 Country Club Road, Monongahela, PA, 15063.
