Edward Joseph Riley, 90, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on March 31, 2022. He was born in Charleroi on July 24, 1931, son of the late Joseph and Margret Buchta Riley.

Ed was a 1949 graduate of Charleroi High School, and a faithful and active member of Transfiguration Church (now St Andrew the Apostle Parish). He retired from the West Penn Power as a Power Control Supervisor after a 40 year career. He enjoyed woodworking, travel, and helping others.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Carole, three sons, Robert (JoAnn) of Brownstown, MI, Dennis (Pat) of Weaverville, NC, Patrick (Amy) of Johnstown, PA; and daughter, Julie Goodside (Michael) of California, PA. He was a grandfather to 10 grandchildren, with 18 great-grandchildren.

Private visitation and mass were held on Saturday, April 2, 2022. The arrangements were entrusted to the Frye Funeral Home Inc.
