Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Napovanic, 86, of Monongahela, formerly of Bunola, died Sunday, June 23, 2024 in Premier Washington Health Center.

She was born October 3, 1937 in Bunola, the daughter of David C. and Stephanie Agnes Fetchen Williams.

Betty retired as a manager for several CoGo's in the area. For years, she and her husband, Ed, owned and operated The Corner Market in Charleroi. Betty was a former member of the Bunola VFD Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos. She was Catholic by faith.

She is survived by four sisters, Marlene (Wayne) Neuman of Sebring, Florida, Mary Ann Martin, Barbara Williams, Marcia Williams, all of Clairton; brother, Stephen (Jo Ann) Williams of Venetia; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Napovanic who died September 1, 1985; and four brothers, David, Robert, Thomas, and Jacob Williams.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 5-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred  Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
