Frances Vavasori, 103, of Monongahela, died Monday, February 23, 2026 in the Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela. She was born June 16, 1922, a daughter of Joseph H. and Josephine Willis Barskite.

Frances enjoyed going to mass at Transfiguration Church, dancing, and spending time with her grandsons. She had a special love for her home on Marne Avenue in Monongahela. She was known for being a fashionable lady who loved jewelry, purses, and clothes.

She is survived by her grandsons, Anthony and Nicholas Vavasori.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Primo Vavasori; son, Ronald A. Vavasori; daughter-in-law, Kelly Lynn (Yartin) Vavasori; brother, Joseph Barskite; two sisters, Lillian Zuccarini, and Clementine Michalowicz.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 12-2PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Patrick Barkey officiating. Interment will be private and in the Monongahela Cemetery.
