Gary M. Roule's Obituary
Gary M. Roule, 82, of Monongahela, died Friday, December 23, 2016. He was born August 14, 1934 in Monongahela, the son of Armedia C. and Antoinette Cillo Roule.
Gary graduated from Monongahela High School in 1952 and was a peacetime veteran serving in the US Army. He was employed for numerous years at US Steel, Homestead Works and also was a taxi cab driver in Monessen. Gary was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish in Monongahela.
He is survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Maria Vasquez Roule; five children, Michael Roule of Monongahela, Anita Roule of Finleyville, Louis Roule and Dana Roule, both of Florida, Maria Hicks of Morgantown, WV; five grandchildren; one great grandson; sister, Armida Tomasiak of Pittsburgh; brother, Richard Roule of Connecticut; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Roule and sister, Anita Curka.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 2-4 and 7- 9 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. William Terza officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela with military honors accorded by the Mon Valley Firing Squad and Honor Guard.
