George E. Corbin, Jr., 74, of New Eagle, died Thursday, December 31, 2020 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital after a short illness. He was born August 20, 1946 in New Eagle, the son of George Elmer and Bertha Kozak Corbin, Sr.
George retired from the Union Township Road Department, where he was employed for numerous years. He enjoyed watching the Steelers, fishing and hunting. He was a member of the former Italian Mutual Benefit Society in Black Diamond.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Miller Corbin with whom he celebrated thirty four years of marriage on July 19, 2020; daughter, Jimmie Rach and husband Brian of McMurray; two granddaughters, Abigail and Emma Rach; and his twin sister, Rose Belak of McDonald.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Vignoli.
Friends will be received on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM with the Pastor Kenneth Kirby officiating.
