Grace K. Ingland, 88, of Monongahela, died Sunday, June 28, 2020 at the Residence at Hilltop in Monongahela. She was born January 2, 1932 in Monongahela, the daughter of Alexander and Catherine Gilkey Collins.
Grace retired from the Mitchell Power Station where she was employed as a secretary for thirty five years. She was a member of the Monongahela Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday school and was the church secretary for numerous years. Grace loved her family, her church and God more than anything. She was a beautiful lady and truly loved by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of forty two years, Rev. Robert M. Ingland, Jr.; three beloved stepchildren, Robert Ingland and wife Lois, Cathy McGee and husband Cornell, Amy Steward and husband John, all of North Carolina; nine step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren whom she cherished; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Eleanor Doty, Gloria Jerrel, Edith Gee and Carolyn Wallace; and three brothers, Alexander Collins, Jr., Frank and Jack Collins.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 10 AM - 12:00 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Raymond DiCamillo officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
