Helene Ada Boyd, 83, of Belle Vernon, formerly of Monongahela, died Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.

She was born January 24, 1943 in New Eagle, the daughter of Clyde and Violet Pearl Plance Hallam.

Helene had a lovingly spent her time raising all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her time going to the VFW and also loved playing bingo.

She is survived by three sons, Vincent Boyd of Belle Vernon, Jeffery Boyd of Monessen and Kevin Boyd of Belle Vernon; fourteen grandchildren, Brooklynn, who was Helene's caregiver, Hannah, Abby, Brittany, Steven, Charlie, Austin, Codie, Anna, Jayden, Clayton, Brayden, Carter and Alayah; five great grandchildren, Carson, Kayson, Kali Ann, Colt, and Isabella; brother, John Hallam; sister, Cathy Adams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Boyd, son, Daniel Boyd; daughter, Kally Jo Boyd; grandson, Jesse; several brothers and sisters.

There will be no visitations or services for Helene.
