Isabelle M. "Toots" Miller, 91, of Monongahela, died Thursday, January 5, 2023 in the Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills. She was born January 15, 1931 in Ohiopyle, the daughter of Charles Franklin and Maggie Potter Teets.

Isabelle was a graduate of Ohiopyle High School. Later in life, she enrolled in CCAC South and earned her teaching degree in elementary education. She taught at the South Hills Christian School in Finleyville for several years and then became a substitute teacher for the Ringgold school district and at the former Transfiguration Catholic School in Monongahela. She later worked as an aide at The Respite Center in Monessen until its closing. Isabelle was Protestant by faith. She enjoyed crocheting in her spare time and loved watching The Price is Right and Beat Bobby Flay on the Food Network.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Lantz of Belle Vernon; son, Daryl Miller and wife Danna of Monongahela; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Miller; son, Donald A. Miller; and daughter, Susan Robb. Isabelle was the last of her immediate family.

Friends will be received on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Jack Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth.
