At the time of his retirement, Jack's last project was the BLU-122 program creating missiles capable of penetrating extreme distances of solid rock, a useful weapon in the War on Terror.
His retirement years were spent visiting family, traveling to exotic locations around the world, and watching football games at home. He loved dancing, God, good music, playing pinochle, gardening, and was a Steelers fan. While growing up he played softball and basketball with the 11th Street gang and was playfully nicknamed Jackie by the family he grew up with.
