Janice Lee Douglas' Obituary
Janice Lee Douglas, 70, of Monongahela, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in the Mon Valley Care Center. She was born October 28, 1946 in New Eagle, the daughter of Herbert Irwin Douglas and Margaret Sollosi Douglas Lehrman.
Janice was a graduate of Monongahela High School and enjoyed swimming.
She is survived by her sister, Margaret "Peggy" Nelson of New Eagle; sister-in-law, JoAnn Douglas of Monessen; two nephews, David Douglas of Canonsburg, Bradley Nelson of Monongahela; niece, Melissa Nelson of New Eagle; cousins, aunts, uncles, two great nieces and a nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John "JD" Douglas and her niece, Apryl Douglas.
There are no visitations or funeral services. Interment was in the Monongahela Cemetery. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The Frye Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
