Jenelle Jane Lance, 53, of New Eagle, died Thursday, February 5, 2026 in Jefferson Hospital. She was born March 30, 1972 in Sewickley, a daughter of the late Richard S. Leopold and Marcella Jane (Friend) Leopold who survives and resides in Monessen.

Jenelle was a 1991 graduate of Foster High School in Tukwila, Washington. She was a member of The Bible Chapel, Rostraver.

For the past few years, she was a caregiver for her mother. She was a devoted wife and mother, and loved spending time with her family. Jenelle enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, Dave, and listening to country music.

She is survived by her husband, David A. Lance; two children, Lillian and Robert Knouse, both at home; seven stepchildren; four stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Kelly (Steve) Glenner of Seattle, Washington, Kathy Dronsfield of Midland; brother, Michael Friend, of Freedom.

Friends will be received on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 12-3 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Alan Booth officiating.
