Joetta L. Tatar, 86, of Rostraver Township, died Saturday, December 3, 2022 in the Mon Valley Care Center, Monongahela. She was born February 26, 1936 in New Eagle, the daughter of Harold and Alda McFeely Craig.
Joetta enjoyed her mornings in the kitchen with a good cup of coffee and anyone that happened to stop by. She was known to many as "Gram" and loved cooking, baking and thrift shopping. She was a very devoted Penguins fan and enjoyed camping at Hillegass Camp Ground in Schellsburg. For many years Joetta was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church in New Eagle.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Tatar with whom she celebrated sixty six years of marriage on October 20, 2022; two sons, William Tatar and wife Connie, Ronald M. Tatar and wife Lisa, all of New Eagle; daughter, Sandra Tustin of Belle Vernon; five grandchildren, Ronald, Bryan and Ruth Ann Tatar, Shelly Cowart and Billy Tatar; eight great grandchildren, Billy Cowart III and Colette Cowart, Lilli, Isabella, Jakob, Elena, Marlee and Jace Tatar.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela. Interment will be private in the Monongahela Cemetery.
