John Robert Bonneau, 62, of Portage, MI, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in his home. He was born August 18, 1956 in Smith Center, KS, a son of the late Leo and Bettie Staley Bonneau. John was a computer systems analyst, and was a veteran having served in the US Navy. He was also a distinguished member of the Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity. He is survived by his wife Daryle Maser Bonneau, one son, Nicholas Bonneau of Portage, MI, two brothers, David Bonneau and his wife Debra Pederson of Kansas City, and William Bonneau and his wife Mary of Omaha, NE, and one sister, Yvonne (Bonnie) Bonneau of Taos, NM. Friends will be received on Thursday, August 1 from 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 2, at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery with military rites accorded by the US Navy.
