Joyce Marie Delaney, 88, of Finleyville, formerly of New Eagle, died Sunday, June 29, 2025 in the Hallsworth House, Monessen. She was born December 8, 1936 in East Monongahela, the daughter of Lawrence C. and Josephine M. "Phoebe" DeRosa Staffen.

Joyce was employed for twenty four years as a custodian working for the Ringgold School district. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela. For many years she was a Girl Scout and 4-H leader in Ginger Hill. Joyce enjoyed boating and traveling with her husband Mark, and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She spent many hours crocheting and loved giving away the many items that she made.

She is survived by two daughters, Jaime L. Riili and Regina Shuback all of Ginger Hill; daughter-in-law, Patty Pust of River Hill; two granddaughters,

Nichole Evanoff of Ginger Hill, Christina Pust of Charleroi; twin great granddaughters, Mila and Maggie Evanoff; sister, Virginia Matthews of River Hill; brother, Larry (Nancy) Staffen of Monongahela; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark J. Delaney who died Dec. 11, 2017; and her son, Glenn R. Pust who died October 15, 2014.

At Joyce's request, there will not be any viewing/visitations at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial that will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Monongahela with the Rev. Thomas Kadlick as celebrant. Interment will be private in the Monongahela Cemetery.
