Julie Vasolik Sistik-Aulicino,100, went to be with Our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Born June 18, 1917 in Stupne, Czechoslovakia, Julie was the daughter of the late Andreas Vasolik of Czechoslovakia and Vendel and Anna Kozik Sistik of Monongahela. Julie was very proud of her Slovak heritage. She loved teaching her grandchildren Slovak songs, the language and sharing the recipe for her delicious Slovak pancakes which were enjoyed by many. Julie will always be remembered as a happy, smiling person who enjoyed listening to Polka music and tending to her many beautiful flowers. Julie was a very talented artist and story teller. She loved showing her photograph albums and being around her family and friends, particularly the many children at holiday gatherings.
