Leonora P. Radus' Obituary
Leonora P. Radus, 97, of Monongahela, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Jefferson Hills Manor. She was born October 2, 1919 in Monongahela, the daughter of Simon Peter and Emma Innocenti Pacini.
In her younger years, Leonora played tennis and had won a few city championships. At one time, she was very active in the Monongahela Senior Center and enjoyed, sewing, crocheting, needlepoint and baking. She had been a member and past treasurer and secretary of the former Sons of Italy in Monongahela.
She is survived by her son, Tom Radus and wife Francine Carlson of Pittsburgh; daughter, Trudy Radus of Monongahela; grandson, Alex Radus and wife Maria; two great grandchildren, Leonora and Nicolette Radus.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Radus who died December 19, 1988; two sisters, Leda Jordan and Lena Turini; and a brother, Pellegrino "Mish" Pacini.
Private services were held in the Monongahela Cemetery. The Frye Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
