Lois F. Morton, 84, of Bentleyville, died Friday, October 22, 2021 in the VA Medical Center, Aspinwall, Pittsburgh. She was born November 4, 1936 in Somerset Township, the daughter of Clarence R. and Martha Deneen Morton.
Lois was a graduate of Monongahela High School and a peacetime veteran, having served in the US Air Force. For many years, she was employed as a bank auditor in Ohio.
She is survived by her sister, Loretta Ruse of Bentleyville; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Charles and Jack Morton; former husband, Borden P. Carr; and her beloved dogs, Brigadoon, Spice and Sugar.
At Lois's request, there will be no visitations. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
