Lorraine was a graduate of Donora High School, class of 1962. After graduation, she attended the Douglas School of Business in Monessen where she obtained her secretarial degree. Lorraine and her husband Bill looked forward to Wednesday's, when they would take their grandchildren out to eat. She regularly attended the luncheons that the Class of 1962 classmates enjoyed monthly. Lorraine was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Donora. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, playing bingo, reading, watching murder mysteries, going out to eat, and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

Mullen with whom she celebrated fifty two years of marriage on July 3, 2018; two daughters, Shelley and Lisa Mullen, both at home; son, Chris Mullen and companion Danielle Nicora and her children Logan and Brody Vitale of Carroll Township; three grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremy and Isabella Mullen; sister-in-law, Kay Rock of Monessen; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
