Lucille M. Ribnicky's Obituary
Lucille M. Ribnicky, 80, of Monongahela, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in her home. She was born July 8, 1936 in Monongahela, the daughter of Joseph Kevech and Evelyn Luzzi Kevech Calderone.
Lucille retired from the Department of Public Assistance, working in both Donora and Charleroi. She was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish in Monongahela. Lucille loved her family and was a caregiver to them in their time of need. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing bingo and her trips to the Meadows.
She is survived by two daughters, Darla Porter and William Gricar of Monongahela, Diana Gricar and husband Richard of Charleroi; granddaughter, Bernadette Bongyor and husband Lou; and a great grandson on the way
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George "Bob" Ribnicky who died Dec. 14, 2015; and two brothers, Joseph and Lloyd Kevech.
Friends will be received on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 7-9 PM and Friday, May 12, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. William Terza officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
