Marion Swiatek, 95, formerly of Charleroi, passed away early Monday morning, October 14, 2024 at Mira Vie in Fanwood, NJ.

Marion was born September 29, 1929 in Charleroi, to Sam and Bessie Battaglini, and was raised in Fallowfield Township. She married Peter Swiatek of Donora, and the couple settled in South Plainfield, NJ. She was a longtime and faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time at the South Plainfield Senior Citizen Center and traveling to Atlantic City with friends. Above all, Marion enjoyed time spent with her family.

Marion was predeceased by her husband and her sister, Gloria Venanzi. Surviving are her two children, Mary Ann and Ed  Swiatek, and three grandchildren: Miles and Caden Swiatek and Alex Robertson.

Family and friends are invited to attend a blessing service Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Sacred Heart Cemetery in Monongahela.
