Mark Allen Roberts, Sr.'s Obituary
Mark Allen Roberts, 56, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Monongahela, died Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born October 6, 1961 in New Eagle, the son of the late Clarence and Marilyn Sowers Roberts.
After the death of his father, his uncle, Bill Roberts of Monongahela raised him. Mark always referred to him as "Dad". Mark was first employed at Single Source Roofing in McKees Rocks and then at McGrew Welding in Donora, where he worked until 2009, when he was stricken with an aneurysm.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Griffis Roberts of Monessen; three sons, Daniel Griffis of Dormont, Mark A. Roberts, Jr. and wife Krystal, Andrew Roberts, Sr., all of Jefferson Hills; daughter, Amber Roberts of Washington; eleven grandchildren; four sisters, Sharon Roberts, Tracey Roberts, Debbie Roberts, all of Charleroi, Lisa Roberts of Monessen; brother, Alan Roberts of Monessen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Chuck, George, Ray, Bill and John Roberts.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 4-8 pm in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela.
