Marlene Frances Gray, 74, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born March 6, 1946 in New Eagle, the daughter of the late Samuel Albert and Frances Gorsin Lewis.

Marlene retired from Mayview State Hospital after 35 years of employment. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.

She is survived by three sons, Ronald Gray, Jr. of Monongahela, Charles Gray and Rhonda Stasicha of Monongahela, Craig and wife Chris Gray of Port Vue; five grandchildren, Kaylynn, Eric, Craig Jr., Savannah and Hunter; three great grandchildren, Landon, Araya and Levi; three brothers, Samuel Lewis of Elizabeth, Dwayne Lewis of Washington, Kenneth and wife Linda Lewis of Finleyville; sister, Wendy Lewis of Monongahela; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 2-6 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 6:00 PM with the Rev. Robert Smith officiating.

In order to be compliant with our state guidelines concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, masks MUST be worn, social distancing maintained and only 10 people are permitted in the funeral home at a time.
