Mary Belic's Obituary
Mary Belic, 90, of Monongahela, died Saturday, October 8, 2016 in Nevaeh Cove, Charleroi. She was born May 30, 1926 in Mingo Falls, the daughter of John and Eva Mnahoncak Malyuk.
In her younger years, Mary was a beautician having worked for several salons. She was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Monongahela. She enjoyed going to bingo with her neighborhood friends and looked forward to attending Pitt football games every season with her husband George.
Mary was the last of her immediate family and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Belic who died April 14, 1998; three brothers, Mike and Steve Malyuk, John Malyuk who died in childhood; and a sister, Anna Holman.
Friends will be received on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Donna Schmoyer officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Gulf Tower, 707 Grant Street, 37th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 ( www.wishgreaterpa.org ) or to the Monongahela Area Library, 813 W. Main Street, Monongahela, PA 15063.
