Nellie Pearl Foster, 90, of Elizabeth, died Thursday, February 25, 2021 in the Jefferson Hospital. She was born June 5, 1930, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Boyd Campbell.
Nellie spent her life taking care of her husband, her home and raising her children. She loved to cook, work in her vegetable garden, crochet, knit, do word search puzzles and shop at the thrift stores.
She is survived by her son, Edward Foster of Forward Township; grandson, Joshua Foster; brother, Dean Campbell of Las Vegas, Nevada; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry E. "Yuk" Foster who died February 12, 1997; daughter, Margaret Doan; and her brother, Joseph Campbell.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 3-7 PM in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, McKeesport.
