Penny Lee Gilmer, 78, of Belle Vernon, died Sunday, December 28, 2025 in her home. She was born August 26, 1947 in Charleroi, the daughter of Harold and Gail Godfrey Stevenson.

She was a member of Orchard Christian Fellowship in Monessen. Penny was loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, William G. Gilmer; six children, Tammy (Thomas) Parish of Finleyville, James Snyder of Charleroi, Boyd Stevenson of Allenport, April Bauer of Monongahela, Harold Bauer of Belle Vernon, Adele Bauer of Belle Vernon; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Candace Bauer.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 4-6 PM in the Orchard Christian Fellowship, 721 Schoonmaker Avenue, Monessen, PA 15062. Arrangements are entrusted to the Frye Funeral Home Inc.
