Peter Allen Renninger, 70, died Saturday, March 8, 2026. He was born January 5, 1956 in New Eagle, the son of Robert G. and Virginia Snyder Renninger.

Pete was a 1974 graduate of Ringgold High School, and a lifelong resident of Monongahela.

Pete fell in love with cars at an early age, owned his own garage, and worked independently. There was nothing Pete couldn't fix - and many stranded motorists have reported roadside repairs by a mystery mechanic.

Pete had many friends who will remember and miss his unlimited generosity and compassion.

He is survived by brothers and sisters: Robert, Virginia (Charley) Suarez, Nancy, Jeffrey (Linda), Kenneth, and Catherine (Dave) Heinlein and was the Favorite Uncle of most of his 10 nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his brother Daniel.

In honor of Pete, the family asks that everyone remember to change their oil every 3000 miles.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Frye Funeral Home Inc., Monongahela.
